Website information
Articles, fee guides, and service descriptions on this site are general information about UK financial advice and consulting topics. They are not personalised recommendations. Formal advice is given only within a paid engagement after we have agreed scope in writing.
Acceptance of consultations
Submitting a contact form does not create an advisory relationship. We may decline work that sits outside our expertise, including certain defined benefit transfers, mortgage advice, or situations requiring specialist permissions we do not hold.
Intellectual property
Site content, branding, and downloadable materials we create remain the property of Fairgrove Retirement Advice unless otherwise stated. You may not copy, republish, or commercially reuse them without written permission, except for personal reference of materials we send you as part of a paid engagement.
Client materials
Documents you supply for a consultation remain yours. We may retain copies as required for regulatory or record-keeping purposes described in our privacy notice.
Liability
We take reasonable care preparing website content, but we do not warrant that it is complete or current for your circumstances. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions made solely on the basis of free website content. Liability arising from paid consultations is limited as set out in the engagement letter for that work and does not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or other liabilities that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Third-party links
Links to GOV.UK or other external resources are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for their content or availability.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Northern Ireland and the wider United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland as applicable. Courts of Northern Ireland have non-exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live in Great Britain.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page applies from the date of publication.
